After reading, your inspiration wheels should be turning when it comes to the periodic table and the interactions of its elements. This being the case, you and a partner will create either a Podcast OR Crash Course Video on an inspired, unique reaction from the periodic table. This reaction should have a negative impact when it happens. This can be anything from a pollutant inside a country's drinking water to a reaction involved in chemical warfare. Do a bit of research to find one that is inspiring to you.
Your Podcast or Crash Course video should:
Feature all group members, mixed in a way that is interesting for your listener.
Be 10-15 minutes long.
Be accompanied by a detailed, written script including a citation page.
Give all key information about the reaction and describe its backstory and uniqueness.
Be saved as an mp3 or mp4 if podcast, youtube video if Crash Course.
Be creative and original. Use props such as music, scenery, etc.
Not be the same reaction as another group.
Have a STORY that teaches a lesson about one of these topics.
Have music and sound effects thoughtfully edited into the episode.
Have a clear focus and not just a lesson on the reaction.
Contain at least one interview, this can be with an expert on the material.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the concept.
Be infused with humor and emotion with a conversational style.
